Job summary

Atrium Health Pineville - Respiratory Therapy Services is seeking a Part-time Respiratory Therapist to join our team. The position is 24 hours per week with a sign-on bonus eligible and a pay range of $30.70 to $46.05 per hour.

Responsibilities include delivering ventilator support, assessing therapies, documenting results, and collaborating with physicians and the health care team. Qualifications include AMA-approved school, NC license, and RRT credentials, with BLS and ongoing certifications.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Respiratory Care.
• Associates RRT or RRT Equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Credentialed as a Registered Respiratory Therapist and licensed in North Carolina; BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge in oxygen delivery and equipment for each mode.
• Administers therapeutic procedures and explains benefits, risks, and effects.
• Evaluates current therapies and makes recommendations on plans of care.
• Works independently in patient care areas and assists coworkers when possible.
• Documents therapy and results per hospital, department and regulatory standards.
• Communicates information to appropriate members of the healthcare team.
• Performs and evaluates blood sampling analysis and interprets results.
• Maintains annual proficiency with respiratory care equipment and EMR interface.
