Mon Valley Healthcare in Monongahela, PA seeks a Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT) to join our clinical team and provide essential pulmonary care in a skilled nursing environment. The role offers both full-time and part-time options and the patient population includes long-term residents requiring respiratory management and education.

The ideal candidate holds an accredited Respiratory Care/Therapy degree, PA RCP licensure, NBRC RRT/CRT credentials, and BLS/CPR certification, with at least 1 year

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Care/Therapy program.
• Active RCP license in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
• Current NBRC RRT or CRT credential; active BLS/CPR certification.
• 1+ years of clinical experience in SNF/LTC or Acute Care preferred (new grads welcome).
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to elderly care.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive respiratory assessments and administer specialized care.
• Manage and maintain respiratory equipment including oxygen delivery, nebulizers, tracheostomy care, and ventilation/CPAP/BiPAP as required.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and care teams to develop and update resident care plans.
• Monitor responses to treatments and document progress in the EHR; respond to respiratory changes or emergencies.
• Educate residents, families, and staff on respiratory management and therapy goals.
