• 1+ years of clinical experience in SNF/LTC or Acute Care preferred (new grads welcome).
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to elderly care.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive respiratory assessments and administer specialized care.
• Manage and maintain respiratory equipment including oxygen delivery, nebulizers, tracheostomy care, and ventilation/CPAP/BiPAP as required.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and care teams to develop and update resident care plans.
• Monitor responses to treatments and document progress in the EHR; respond to respiratory changes or emergencies.
• Educate residents, families, and staff on respiratory management and therapy goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive respiratory assessments and administer specialized care to residents with pulmonary conditions.

• Manage and maintain respiratory equipment, including oxygen delivery systems, nebulizers, tracheostomy care, and mechanical ventilation/CPAP/BiPAP as required.

• Collaborate closely with attending physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary care teams to develop and update resident care plans.

• Monitor resident responses to treatments, document progress accurately in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system, and respond promptly to respiratory changes or emergencies.

• Educate residents, families, and facility staff on respiratory management, equipment operation, and therapy goals.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care/Therapy program.

• Licensure: Active Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania (Required).

• Certifications: Current RRT or CRT credential from the NBRC; active BLS/CPR certification (Required).

• Experience: 1+ years of clinical experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF), Long-Term Care (LTC), or Acute Care setting preferred (New grads welcome to apply).
