Live Well Homecare is seeking a Lead Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for night shifts at Elmhurst Hospital. You will coordinate nightly shift activities, supervise respiratory staff, and uphold patient care standards while monitoring departmental performance and budget compliance.

The role emphasizes leadership—assessing needs, initiating orders, solving equipment issues, and addressing concerns from patients, physicians, or nursing staff.

Formación

• Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
• Current CPR, RRT, NALS, and PALS certifications.
• Illinois license as Respiratory Care Practitioner.
• Minimum of 3 years of respiratory therapy experience.
• Experience in NEO/NICU and PFT preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate daily shift activities and supervise respiratory therapy staff.
• Ensure adherence to patient care standards and department budgets.
• Provide leadership by assisting with assessments, orders, and issue resolution.
• Address patient, physician, or nursing complaints and adjust staffing as workload changes.
