Qualifications

• Current Registered Respiratory Therapist for state licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA/ARC is required.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory care as ordered by physician.
• Monitor mechanical ventilation and administer medications.
• Perform patient assessment and interpret hemodynamic results.
• Monitor blood work results and provide ongoing care.
• Educate and train patients and staff as needed.

Florida Rehabilitation Hospital at Tampa located at Woodstork and Temple Terrace is opening February 2025. Join our team to work in a beautiful new hospital with 60 private patient rooms and 2 rehab therapy gyms with cutting-edge technology.

Position Summary: Responsible for administering safe and competent respiratory care as ordered per physician, monitoring mechanical ventilation, administering medications, patient assessment, understanding ramifications of hemodynamic monitoring, understanding blood work results, monitoring, teaching, and training. Pay: Rate of pay is based on years of experience and qualifications.

• Current Registered Respiratory Therapist for state licensure agency
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained from the American Heart Association and/or American Red Cross. Online certification is not acceptable.

Desired Qualifications:

• Hospital experience preferred
