Select Medical in Springfield, MO, seeks a Respiratory Therapist (RT) to provide care for critical patients on 12-hour day shifts in a full-time role. Eligible for a $15,000 sign-on bonus and a comprehensive benefits package, including tuition reimbursement and CEU opportunities.

Responsibilities include evaluating patients, delivering respiratory care, airway management, quality improvement, and patient/family education, with required NBRC credentials and BLS/ACLS within stated timelines.

Competenze

• Active CRT or RRT credential from NBRC or state equivalent.
• BLS certification required by start date.
• Current state licensure required.
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire (PRN staff must have ACLS on hire).
• Proof of graduation with college transcript/diploma preferred or high school diploma/GED.

Qualifications

Minimum requirements:

• Must possess "Active" CRT or RRT credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) or state equivalent.
• Proof of graduation required: college transcript/diploma (preferred) or high school transcript/diploma or GED.
• Possess a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date.
• Current state licensure is required.
• ACLS is required within 6 months of hire. (Agency RT must have ACLS upon first shift, PRN staff must have ACLS upon hire).

Preferred qualifications:

• One (1) year of related experience is preferred.
