Select Specialty Hospital in Fairhill, OH is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RT) for a full-time position with day and night shifts. A $10,000 sign-on bonus and competitive hourly rate are offered to support a successful start.

You will evaluate patients, provide respiratory care for critical and complex cases, manage endotracheal tubes, and contribute to quality improvement while educating patients and families to improve outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active CRT or RRT credential from NBRC or state equivalent.
• Proof of graduation: college transcript/diploma or HS transcript/GED.
• BLS certification by start date; ACLS within 6 months of hire.
• Current state licensure required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and recommend an appropriate treatment plan.
• Provide respiratory care to patients with critical and complex conditions.
• Perform insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes.
• Promote continuous quality improvement.
• Teach and counsel patients and families.

Minimum Requirements

• Must possess "Active" CRT or RRT credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) or state equivalent.
• Proof of graduation required: college transcript/diploma (preferred) or high school transcript/diploma or GED.
• Possess a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date.
• Current state licensure is required.
• ACLS is required within 6 months of hire. (Agency RT must have ACLS upon first shift, PRN staff must have ACLS upon hire).

Preferred Qualifications

• One (1) year of related experience is preferred.
