Iberia Medical Center (IMC) in New Iberia, LA is seeking team members to advance our vision and serve the community with high-quality respiratory care. We are hiring a Respiratory Therapist (CRT or RRT) on a Full Time basis, under the Cardiopulmonary Director.

The role covers assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation of care for all age groups. Requirements include a high school diploma, AMA-approved respiratory school graduate, and current CRT or RRT licensure with CPR certification.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate.
• Graduate of AMA approved Respiratory School.
• Current license as a Certified Respiratory Therapist or Certified Eligible Therapist.
• Current license as a Registered Respiratory Therapist or Registry Eligible Therapist.
• Current CPR Certification (Infant, Child and Adult).

• Arterial Blood Gases.

IMC is currently hiring a Respiratory Therapist (CRT or RRT) on a Full Time basis. Under the general supervision of the Cardiopulmonary Director, this person applies the Respiratory Care process (assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation). Effectively interacts with patient, significant others, and other health team members, while maintaining standards of professional Respiratory Care. Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to provide care based on physical, psycho/social, education, safety and related criteria for the neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric population.

Education

• High School Graduate
• Graduate of AMA approved Respiratory School

Licensure/Certification/Registration

• Current license as a Certified Respiratory Therapist or Certified Eligible Therapist.
• Current license as a Registered Respiratory Therapist or Registry Eligible Therapist.
