Job summary

Iberia Medical Center in New Iberia, LA is hiring a Respiratory Therapist (CRT or RRT) on a Full Time basis. Under the Cardiopulmonary Director, you will apply the respiratory care process and interact with patients and health team members while maintaining professional standards.

Minimum education includes a high school diploma and AMA approved respiratory school; licensure as CRT/RRT or eligible, CPR required.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate.
• Graduate of AMA approved Respiratory School.
• Current license as a Certified Respiratory Therapist or Certified Eligible Therapist.
• Current license as a Registered Respiratory Therapist or Registry Eligible Therapist.
• Current CPR Certification (Infant, Child and Adult).
• Previous experience preferred but not required.
• Basic knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
• Thorough knowledge of all respiratory procedures.
