Job description

Role:

Responsible for providing direct patient care in respiratory therapy under physician direction, acting as an advanced resource for physicians and nursing staff.

Responsibilities:

Perform all aspects of respiratory care, consult on therapy effectiveness, and perform assigned duties using appropriate respiratory care devices.

Qualifications:

Graduate of a CoArc-approved Respiratory Care program, current state licensure, and a valid Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.

Certifications:

Hold the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from NBRC; PALS certification required for Emergency Room staff.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to push, pull, and grip up to 50 lbs., kneel, crouch, crawl, and perform physical tasks as needed.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

Critical care experience and ACLS certification are advantageous.
