Job summary

Lexington Health, Inc. is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to deliver professional respiratory care to patients in a full-time day-shift role (7:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.) at our Carolina Pulmon & Critical Care location in Columbia, SC.

You will implement physician orders, perform pulmonary tests, provide oxygen therapy, and educate patients while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. The role requires an AMA-accredited respiratory care degree, SC licensure, and a current BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-accredited two-year Respiratory Care program.
• Respiratory Therapist license with SC Board of Medical Examiners (biennial renewal).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic procedures such as Pulmonary Function Tests and interpret results.
• Provide oxygen therapy and related respiratory care.
• Educate patients and document results and care plans.
• Comply with health and safety regulations and physician orders.
