Job summary

Woodlawn Health in Rochester, Indiana, is seeking a compassionate Respiratory Therapist for the Day Shift to provide inpatient and outpatient respiratory care. You will work with physicians and staff to help patients breathe easier and improve quality of life.

Required NBRC CRT credentials and an Indiana RCP license, plus BLS; ACLS, PALS, and NRP are preferred or will be pursued. Join a collaborative team dedicated to excellent patient care near home.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Respiratory Therapy program and NBRC CRT credential.
• Indiana license as Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) required.
• BLS certification; ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Perform inpatient and outpatient respiratory therapy procedures as ordered.
• Respond to emergencies and assist in resuscitation efforts.
• May be trained for endotracheal intubation.
• Maintain ability to perform arterial blood gases per policy.
• Collaborate with staff and physicians to optimize patient care.
• Ensure oxygen equipment is checked and maintained.
