A critical illness recovery hospital is seeking a Full Time Dayshift Respiratory Therapist to join their Grand Rapids location. Qualifications

• Active CRT or RRT credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date is necessary.
• Current state licensure is required for practice.
• ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and recommend appropriate treatment plans.
• Provide respiratory care to patients with critical conditions.
• Insert and remove endotracheal tubes as necessary.
• Promote quality improvement initiatives.
• Teach and counsel patients and families.
