Job summary

A critical illness recovery hospital is seeking a full-time Respiratory Therapist to provide exceptional care to critically ill patients. Qualifications

• Active CRT or RRT credential from NBRC or state equivalent.
• Proof of graduation: college transcript/diploma or GED preferred.
• BLS certification by start date.
• Current state licensure required.
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and recommend an appropriate treatment plan.
• Provide respiratory care to patients with critical medical conditions.
• Perform insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes.
• Promote continuous quality improvement.
• Teach and counsel patients and families.
