Job summary

Wickliffe Country Place is seeking a compassionate Respiratory Therapist (CRT/RRT) to provide skilled respiratory care in our skilled nursing facilities. You will follow clinical guidelines and collaborate with physicians and care teams to deliver high-quality treatment.

The role requires NBRC-accredited training, CRT or RRT credentials, an Ohio license, and BLS. At least one year of experience, with long-term care and ventilator experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of NBRC-accredited program.
• Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• Valid Ohio license and Basic Life Support certification.
• At least 1 year of experience (long-term care and ventilator experience preferred).

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement respiratory therapy treatment plans.
• Administer inhalants, operate ventilators, and manage therapeutic gas systems.
• Monitor patient responses and adjust treatments as needed.
• Perform bronchopulmonary drainage and assist with breathing exercises.
• Collaborate on discharge planning with physicians, nurses, and social workers.
