Job summary

Fountain View is seeking compassionate and skilled Respiratory Therapists (RTs) to join our clinical team in Cincinnati. We offer day and night shifts with FT, PT, and PRN opportunities, providing hands-on respiratory care to residents with complex needs.

You will collaborate with nursing and medical staff, perform treatments, monitor patients, and maintain equipment while prioritizing safety, dignity, and comfort for residents. Fountain View is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• Current Respiratory Therapist license/credential.
• Experience in respiratory therapy.
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
• Compassionate and resident-focused approach.
• Dependable, professional, and team-oriented.
• Ability to work with interdisciplinary teams.
• Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy treatments per physician orders and resident care plans.
• Monitor residents receiving respiratory therapy services.
• Administer respiratory treatments and therapies as ordered.
• Assist with oxygen therapy and respiratory equipment.
• Observe and document resident responses to respiratory treatments.
• Recognize and communicate changes in residents’ respiratory status.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team.
• Follow infection-control and resident-safety practices.
• Help ensure respiratory equipment is properly maintained and ready for resident use.
• Educate and support residents and families regarding respiratory care as appropriate.
• Provide compassionate, resident-centered care while maintaining dignity and comfort.
