Job summary

Person Memorial Hospital in Roxboro, NC, is seeking a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) to join our compassionate team. In this PRN role, you will provide comprehensive respiratory care across age groups, coordinate with physicians for individualized care plans, and contribute to a supportive patient experience in a modern facility.

Applicants must hold an Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy and active CRT licensure, with BCLS certification required and ACLS/PALS preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy required.
• Current Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) licensure is required.
• (BCLS) Basic Life Support certification is required.
• ACLS and PALS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive respiratory care to patients across all age groups.
• Perform diagnostic testing, administer therapies, and evaluate ordered treatments.
• Collaborate with physicians to develop and implement individualized plans of care.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR and ensure respiratory equipment readiness.

How you’ll contribute
A Respiratory Therapist (CRT) provides comprehensive respiratory care to patients with acute and chronic cardiopulmonary conditions across all age groups. This role performs diagnostic testing, administers and evaluates ordered therapies, and collaborates with physicians to develop and implement individualized plans of care. The Respiratory Therapist responds to emergent situations, including codes, educates patients and families, maintains respiratory equipment and supplies, and ensures accurate documentation in the electronic medical record while adhering to evidence-based practices and regulatory standards.

What we’re looking for

Current Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) licensure is required
