Job summary

St. Mary's Regional Medical Center is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a full-time day shift. You will assess patients, deliver evidence-based respiratory care, and document care in the patient record.

The role emphasizes timely therapy starts and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will hold an associate degree in respiratory therapy, Oklahoma RCP license, and NBRC RRT, with BLS; ACLS/PALS within six months is required. NRP preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited respiratory program with at least an associate degree.
• Current Oklahoma RCP license or Provisional Letter.
• NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required and maintained.
• BLS required.
• ACLS and PALS required within six months of hire; annual recertification required.
• SECURE training required within six months of hire.
• NRP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and deliver evidence-based respiratory care.
• Provide ventilatory support and airway management.
• Document patient status, care provided, and treatment outcomes in iView.
• Administer oxygen, aerosols, humidity therapy, chest physiotherapy, suctioning, and related therapies.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and ensure therapy starts within one hour of order.
