Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy (required).
• CRT or RRT license in the state of practice (required).
• BCLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications (preferred).
• Ability to work in physically demanding environments with exposure to hazards.
• Strong critical-thinking skills and commitment to patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct diagnostic testing and respiratory therapies for patients across ages.
• Monitor patient response and communicate changes in condition.
• Respond to codes and emergent respiratory calls with rapid assessment.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory health and medication use.
• Maintain and calibrate respiratory equipment and manage supplies.
