Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA approved two year Respiratory school or equivalent.
• Current NYS Respiratory Therapist or Certified Respiratory Technician license.
• Registered with the NBRC or equivalent.
• Current AHA BLS certification at hire.
• AHA ACLS, PALS and NRP must be obtained within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Strategic planning with Respiratory Director and alignment of goals.
• Monitor operational measures and communicate results for improvement.
• Identify quality indicators and implement continuous quality processes.
• Assist with cost control, IT systems usage (Meditech, Excel, Word).
• Provide superior service to patients, physicians, and staff.
