HCA Florida UCF Lake Nona Hospital is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join a dedicated team in the Orlando area. You will perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, manage ventilation, and collaborate with physicians and nurses to deliver high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• NBRC-RRT certification required.
• RRT/RCP-state licensure required.
• ACLS must be obtained within 6 months of start date.
• PALS must be obtained within 6 months of start date.
• BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
• Bachelor's or Associate degree required.

Responsibilities

• Assess respiratory status and determine needed interventions.
• Deliver evidence-based therapy including oxygen, aerosols, and airway clearance techniques.
• Manage ventilation and airway support, monitor response, and adjust as needed.
• Educate patients and families; act as a clinical resource to the care team.
• Maintain and clean equipment; ensure readiness and infection prevention standards.
