Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires Neonate Resuscitate within 6 months of employment start date.
• RRT/RCP-State Respiratory Therapist/Practitioner certification or eligibility.
• ACLS certification or ACLS Instructor.
• BCLS certification or BCLS Instructor.
• PALS certification or PALS Instructor.
• Associate Degree required.

Responsibilities

• Assess respiratory status and determine need for interventions.
• Deliver oxygen, medications, airway clearance techniques and ventilation support across care settings.
• Manage artificial airways and invasively/non-invasively ventilate as needed.
• Educate patients and families, and collaborate with physicians and nurses.
