Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist National Board for Respiratory Care (RRT) required within 1 year.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 60 days.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Administers respiratory care and manages care for patients.
• Conducts evaluation and management of patients with cardiopulmonary deficiencies.
• Performs mechanical ventilator management and respiratory monitoring.

Skills

Ability to provide respiratory therapy methodologies and techniques

Ability to operate diagnostic equipment

Education

Associate’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy

Bachelor’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy (preferred)
