Qualifikationen

• Associate's degree from an accredited RRT program.
• Ability to provide respiratory therapy methodologies and techniques.
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot diagnostic equipment.
• RRT - Registered Respiratory Therapist NBRC – State of Pennsylvania within 1 year.
• ACLS – within 60 days; BLS – within 30 days; PALS – within 60 days; NRP – within 60 days.
• RCP – Respiratory Care Practitioner – State of Pennsylvania.

Aufgaben

• Conducts evaluation, management and care of patients with cardiopulmonary deficiencies.
• Performs mechanical ventilator management, Bi-pap, and respiratory monitoring.
• Sets up and administers respiratory meds per physician orders or protocols.
• Performs inventory and maintains adequate stock of respiratory equipment.
• Educates patients and staff on sleep apnea, CPAP, and related therapies.
• Performs arterial blood gas studies and related analyses.
