Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory therapy under physician orders in Cincinnati, OH. You will consult with physicians about therapy effectiveness and serve as an advanced resource for medical staff.

Requirements include graduation from a CoArc-approved Respiratory Care program, a current RCP license, and NBRC RRT credentials; ACLS is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of CoArc approved Respiratory Care program.
• Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
• NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.
• ACLS preferred.
• Experience in critical care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care per physician orders.
• Consults physicians on effectiveness of therapy.
• Acts as an advanced resource person for physicians and nursing staff.
• Performs duties as assigned.
