Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner to deliver direct patient care across respiratory services in accordance with physician orders. You'll consult on therapy effectiveness and act as a resource for physicians and nursing staff in a fast-paced care environment.

Qualifications include graduation from a CoArc approved program, an active RCP license, and NBRC RRT credential. ACLS preferred; PALS required for ER team members. Entry-level candidates are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CoArc approved Respiratory Care program.
• Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license as required by state.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential (NBRC).
• ACLS preferred; PALS required for ER staff.
• Experience: None; entry level accepted.

Responsibilities

• Perform direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care per physician orders.
• Consult physicians on effectiveness of therapy.
• Serve as an advanced resource for physicians and nursing staff on respiratory care.
• Perform duties as assigned.
