Job summary

Bay Crest Care Center in Torrance, CA is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT) to join our care team. You will evaluate and treat residents with breathing disorders under physician supervision, setting up and operating respiratory care equipment and monitoring responses to therapy.

We require 2–4 years of direct Respiratory Therapy experience, a current state license, CPR/BLS certification, and the ability to work under pressure in a busy care environment.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of direct Respiratory Therapy experience.
• Current respiratory license in the state.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Ability to work under stress and in emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, treat and care for residents with breathing disorders under physician direction.
• Set up and operate respiratory care equipment for diagnosis and therapy.
• Monitor residents' physiological responses to therapy.
