Prestige Healthcare Management is seeking a compassionate Respiratory Therapist to provide high-quality respiratory care in our skilled nursing and long-term care community.

The role involves administering treatments, monitoring residents, managing oxygen therapy, and coordinating with nursing staff to address changes in condition. This on-site position requires a current CRT or RRT license and active BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Current Respiratory Therapist license (CRT or RRT) in good standing.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory treatments and therapies as ordered by the physician.
• Assess and monitor resident respiratory status during routine treatments and rounds.
• Identify changes in condition and promptly communicate concerns to nursing and providers.
• Assist with management of oxygen therapy and oxygen equipment.
• Monitor residents utilizing respiratory devices and therapies.
• Perform routing respiratory assessments including breath sounds, respiratory effort, oxygen saturation, and treatment effectiveness.
• Recognize early signs of respiratory decline and initiate appropriate communication and intervention.

Education

CRT or RRT license

BLS certification

ACLS certification (preferred)
