Job summary

Royalpalmshealth is seeking a licensed Respiratory Therapist to evaluate and treat residents with breathing disorders under the supervision of nursing and administration. You will set up and operate ventilators, gas administration devices, and related equipment per physician orders.

The role requires 2–4 years of direct respiratory therapy experience, a California NBRC-credentialed license, and current BLS certification.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years' direct Respiratory Therapy experience preferred.
• California Respiratory License NBRC credential required.
• Current Basic Life Support certification required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and care for residents with breathing disorders.
• Set up and operate respiratory care devices per physician orders.
• Monitor vital signs, ABGs, and therapy responses.
• Perform arterial puncture and blood gas analysis as authorized.
• Conduct chest physical therapy and pulmonary function studies.
