We are hiring a Respiratory Therapist - Certified for a 0.8 FTE day; 4 days/week Monday-Friday (32-hours/week) position in our Respiratory Services Outpatient Clinic. Shifts will vary week to week from 7am - 3:30pm and 8am - 4:30pm. Responsibilities include administering nitrous oxide, performing pulmonary function tests (PFTs) and electrocardiograms (EKGs). Pediatric experience preferred. PALS required within 3 months of hire. This role will require reliable transportation to travel and support both St. Paul Main Campus and Phalen, St. Paul Clinic locations.
The Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for delivering nitrous sedation, conducting diagnostic testing, and supporting the care of patients with cardiopulmonary conditions. This includes assessing and managing abnormalities, as well as promoting the prevention of cardiopulmonary deficiencies.
Pediatric experience is preferred. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification is required within three months of hire.
The hourly wage for this opportunity is $35.57/hour to $53.36/hour, with a median wage of $44.47/hour. Pay is dependent on several factors including relevant work experience, education, certification & licensure, and internal equity. Hourly pay is just one part of the compensation package for employees.
