Job summary

Franciscan Health Crown Point is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist to support diagnosis, treatment, and care for patients with pulmonary disorders. You will manage ventilators, administer inhaled medications, and participate in diagnostic testing and specialized procedures.

The role requires an Associate’s Degree in Respiratory Care, NBRC RRT, BLS and ACLS certifications, and state licensure. Full-time and part-time positions are available on-site in Crown Point, Indiana.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Respiratory Care is required.
• NBRC RRT credential is required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• RCP state license is required.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate mechanical ventilators using invasive or non-invasive methods.
• Administer HFJV, HFOV, and nitric oxide as prescribed.
• Deliver inhaled medications (SABA, LABA, LAMA, ICs, antibiotics).
• Educate patients and caregivers on disease management and therapy use.
• Perform ABG, EKGs, pulmonary function tests, surfactant delivery as ordered.
• Ensure proper function of Respiratory Therapy equipment and monitor patient response to therapy.
