Position Responsibilities:

Under the supervision of the Respiratory Care Services Medical Director and Department Director, the RCP is responsible for providing Respiratory Care Services within specific physician’s orders, department policies, and procedures.

• Responsible for providing specialized respiratory assessment and care commensurate with training, experience, and competence to patients with respiratory disorders.
• Respiratory Care Therapists recommend treatment plans and implement care as directed by the patient’s attending physician and hospital protocol.
• Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Respiratory Therapy.
• NBRC certified Respiratory Technician or NBRC Registered Therapist licensed.
