Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency seeks a compassionate Respiratory Therapist to deliver essential respiratory care across all ages in a homecare setting. You will administer oxygen, manage ventilators, and tailor therapies based on assessments, partnering with clinicians to develop care plans.

You will educate patients and families on device usage, respond to emergencies, and ensure equipment is properly maintained and documented per protocols, contributing to safe, high-quality homecare.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
• Texas Respiratory Care Practitioner License.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist License.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Administer oxygen therapy, ventilator management, and aerosolized medications.
• Perform respiratory assessments to tailor treatments.

The role involves collaborating with healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans, educating patients and families on respiratory device usage, managing emergency situations, and maintaining equipment and documentation according to protocols.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Graduate from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
• Texas Respiratory Care Practitioner License
• Registered Respiratory Therapist License
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification

Additional certifications like NRP and S.T.A.B.L.E. are required for NICU assignments.
