Job summary

CentraCare Rice Memorial Hospital in Minnesota is seeking Respiratory Therapists to provide compassionate care for patients from neonates to seniors at St. Cloud Hospital.

The team performs in- and out-patient services, with a part-time 48-hour biweekly schedule, evening shift 2:30 p.m.–11:00 p.m., and every 3rd weekend, offering competitive wages and recruitment incentives including a $6,000 hiring bonus and relocation assistance.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a two- or four-year Respiratory Care Program.
• NBRC CRT certification.
• NBRC RRT certification within two years of hire.
• MN license or temporary permit as RT.
• AHA BLS Healthcare Provider card.
• NRP certification within 1.5 years.
• PALS within 1.5 years.
• ACLS within 1.5 years.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient and outpatient respiratory care as part of lifesaving response teams.
• Support neonates through geriatrics with ventilation, airway management and therapies.
• Collaborate with physicians and nursing to deliver personalized patient care.

Education

Graduate of a two or four year Respiratory Care Program

Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) NBRC

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) NBRC within two years

Licensed as a Respiratory Therapist in MN or temporary permit

AHA BLS Healthcare Provider

NRP Certification within 1.5 years

PALS within 1.5 years

ACLS within 1.5 years

Schedule:

• Part- time | 48 hours every two weeks
• Evening Shift | 2:30 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.
• Every 3rd weekend | Every other holiday

Pay and Benefits:

• Pay starting at $40.60 per hour, pay determined by experience Pay range: $39.57 - $59.35 per hour

Qualifications:

• Graduate of a two or four year Respiratory Care Program
• Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC)
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) within two years of hire
• Licensed as a Respiratory Therapist (RT) in the State of MN or temporary RT permit
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required per established policy, can be obtained upon hire
• Neonatal Resusciatation Program (NRT) NRP Certification within 1.5 years of hire
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) withhin 1.5 years of hire
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 1.5 years of hire

To be eligible for recruitment incentives you must be an external candidate who is hired into an eligible full-time or part-time benefited position. Previous CentraCare/Carris employees qualify if they have not worked for CentraCare for at least 9 months at the date of hire. Bonus amounts may differ based on full-time and part-time status.

Relocation assistance requirements: Must accept a position that offers benefits. Must currently reside more than 50 miles away from St. Cloud, Minnesota and relocate to within 30 miles of any of those locations any time before and no later than 120 days after you start work. May not have worked for CentraCare in the past nine months.
