Cuyuna Regional Medical Center in Crosby Township, MN, is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join our dedicated team. We provide care from newborns to the elderly, using the latest technologies and collaborating with physicians and nurses to optimize patient outcomes.

The role requires ACLS, NRP, PALS within 4 months, BLS within 30 days, Minnesota licensure, and an NBRC credential (RRT). You will document treatments, participate in rounds, and support patients and families with compassionate,

A Day in the Life of a Respiratory Therapist

Respiratory Therapists at our facility assess and treat a wide range of respiratory conditions, tailoring care to each patient\'s specific needs from newborns to the elderly. Using the latest medical technologies, they administer therapies such as oxygen, medications, and ventilatory support, adhering to strict safety and hospital protocols. Collaboration is key; therapists work closely with an interdisciplinary team, including physicians and nurses, to integrate and optimize patient care plans. They are adept at functioning autonomously in high-pressure environments, making critical decisions quickly and accurately. Routine responsibilities include thorough documentation of treatments and outcomes, participating in clinical rounds, and engaging in ongoing education and support for patients and their families.

Qualifications

Required

• American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 4 months of hire
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire
• Able to provide a copy of the highest diploma or degree attained
• A degree in Respiratory Care from an accredited respiratory care program (Associate degree or equivalent as defined by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC))
• Current Respiratory Therapy licensure in Minnesota

• RRT credential

The pay range listed above is the estimated starting pay range for this role. Actual pay rate offered depends on many factors including each individual employee\'s experience level, preferred education/certifications, along with market conditions.
