Job summary

Job description

New hires will receive a $15,000 sign-on bonus with their first paycheck and relocation assistance is available to those who qualify.

The registeredrespiratory therapist (RRT)functionsindependently or in collaboration withphysicians or other health care providers. Asclinicians,theyare accountable for the coordinationof all respiratorycare servicesthroughoutthe practice for the patient’s life cycles, includingdirect patient care, patient family education and transitions of care through teamwork and communication..In addition, they’ll be expectedto work autonomouslyto quickly and accurately assess a patient's condition and communicateeffectively to the care team concerning changes in the patient's condition, results of diagnostic studies, symptomatology, and response to treatment.

The RRT will provide leadership through active participation in roles such as mentorship, student educator, committee involvement, and professional quality improvement projects.The RRT will operate within department/institutional procedures andguidelines in conjunction with the American Association of Respiratory Care (AARC)guidelines to function independently usingcritical thinking tomaster the following skills:cardiopulmonary assessment, mechanicalventilation, noninvasive ventilation, hemodynamic monitoring, Artline insertion, airway management,RT Bedside procedures, assist providers with bedside procedures,management ofspecialty gases, rt driven protocols,and external education support.
