Position: Respiratory Therapist

Salary Range: $39 - $43 per hour

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Respiratory Therapist to join our team at our 101 bed Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) facility. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a crucial role in providing respiratory care to patients with chronic or acute respiratory conditions. Your expertise and dedication will help improve the quality of life for our patients and make a positive impact on their recovery journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer respiratory treatments and therapies to patients based on physician orders and treatment plans
• Conduct patient assessments and evaluate respiratory status to determine appropriate treatment plans
• Monitor and document patient progress and response to treatments
• Educate patients and their families on respiratory care techniques and equipment usage
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement comprehensive care plans
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and reports
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with regulatory standards

Requirements:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy
• Current state license as a Respiratory Therapist
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist in a hospital or long-term care setting
