Role Summary: The Registered Respiratory Therapist provides high-quality, patient-centered respiratory care, including diagnostic assessments, therapeutic procedures, and management of mechanical ventilation, in accordance with departmental standards and regulations.

• Key Responsibilities: Perform patient assessments, administer therapies (oxygen, aerosols, chest physiotherapy), assist with airway placement, initiate and monitor mechanical ventilation, respond to emergencies, and transport ventilator-dependent patients.
• Qualifications: Must have Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of employment and hold a valid (RRT/RCP-State) Respiratory Therapist/Practitioner credential.
• Skills & Attributes: Strong clinical judgment, ability to perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, excellent communication, and responsiveness in emergent situations.
