Job summary

Orchard-Villa in Ohio is seeking a compassionate Respiratory Therapist to provide respiratory care for residents in our skilled nursing facilities. You will follow clinical guidelines, work with physicians and care teams, and participate in discharge planning.

Rates up to $49.00 per hour based on experience and schedule. Ideal candidates have NBRC credentials (CRT/RRT), an active Ohio license, BLS, and at least 1 year in long‑term care or ventilator experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an NBRC-accredited program.
• Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• Valid Ohio license and Basic Life Support certification.
• At least 1 year of experience in long-term care and ventilator care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement respiratory therapy treatment plans.
• Administer inhalants, operate ventilators, and manage therapeutic gas systems.
• Monitor patient responses and adjust treatments as needed.
• Perform bronchopulmonary drainage and assist with breathing exercises.
• Collaborate on discharge planning with physicians, nurses, and social workers.
