Job summary

MetroWest Medical Center - Consolidated Hospital in Framingham, MA is seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist to provide respiratory care to patients and support high-quality patient care. You will complete established competencies within the designated introductory period and participate in ongoing education as needed.

The position requires graduation from an AMA-accredited respiratory care program and state licensure (RCP/CRT/ACL/PALS/NRP).

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an AMA accredited respiratory care program.
• Licensure/Certifications: RCP or equivalent State licensure, CRT, ACL, PALS, NRP.
• Preferred: RRT.

Responsibilities

• Performs all aspects of respiratory care.
• Performs diagnostic tests of the cardio-pulmonary system.
• Performs quality control on respiratory care equipment including I-STAT blood gas analyzers.
• Completes established competencies within the introductory period.
• Other related duties as assigned.
