Job summary

MetroWest Medical Center - Consolidated Hospital is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic procedures under physician oversight. You will rotate through advanced imaging areas and support fluoroscopy, OR procedures, and trauma care across all age groups.

The role requires graduation from an accredited imaging program, ARRT eligibility with ARRT within one year, BLS, and state license if required. 1–3 years of radiology experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited Imaging Program.
• ARRT registry eligible; must have ARRT within 1 year post graduation; BLS; state license if required.
• Associate degree preferred.
• Experience: 1-3 years of radiology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality diagnostic radiographs across radiology areas.
• Assist with fluoroscopy, OR procedures and trauma.
• Perform radiographic procedures as requested by a licensed physician.
• Apply professional judgment in patient care across all ages.
• Complete competencies within designated introductory period.
• Other related duties as assigned.

Job Summary

Under minimal supervision, performs basic to complex diagnostic radiographic procedures, as requested by a licensed physician. Exercises professional judgment in providing health care services, applying x-ray energy, to assist in diagnosis or treatment of patients in all age groups from newborn to elderly. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.

• Produces high quality diagnostic radiographs, rotates through advanced areas of diagnostic radiology to include OR, Urography, open reductions, myelography, arthrography, placements, and trauma
• Assists practitioner with fluoroscopy, arthrography, OR procedures and trauma.
• Performs basic to complex diagnostic radiographic procedures, as requested by a licensed physician.
• Exercises professional judgment in providing health care services, applying x-ray energy, to assist in diagnosis or treatment of patients in all age groups from newborn to elderly.
• Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period.
• Other related duties as assigned.
