Qualifications

Impact to Health is seeking a compassionate and clinicallyskilled Respiratory Therapist (RRT) who is dedicatedto improving patient wellbeing through personalized, in‑home respiratory care.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Conductin‑home respiratory assessments with compassion and attentiveness,ensuring each patient feels heard, supported, and respected.
  
• Provideclear, empathetic education to patients and caregivers on ventilators,oxygen therapy, and other respiratory equipment, building confidence andreducing anxiety.
  
• Adjustventilator settings and clinical plans based on patient needs andphysician orders, prioritizing comfort, safety, and individualized care.
  
• Monitor,maintain, and troubleshoot advanced respiratory equipment with patienceand reassurance, helping families feel secure in their home‑based care.
  
• Maintainaccurate, timely documentation of all clinical services and interactionsto support continuity of care and patient wellbeing.
  
• Offerongoing phone support and follow‑up care, providing calm, compassionateguidance during moments of uncertainty or urgent need.
  
• Participatein on‑call rotations and complete home visits as needed, delivering carewith empathy and professionalism.
  
• Supportthe training and orientation of new clinical staff, modeling patient‑centeredcommunication and compassionate care practices.
  
• Performadditional duties as assigned to ensure patients receive safe, reliable,and dignified respiratory support in their homes.
  

WorkSchedule: Monday - Friday 8AM - 5PM | On-Call Duties: as needed

Requirements

Required Education and/or Experience

• Highschool diploma or GED equivalent, required
  
• Validdriver’s license in state of residence with a clean driving record
  
• Activelicensure in your primary state of residence as a Respiratory Therapist(RRT or CRT) or other acceptable medical credential (e.g., RC, RN, LPN,LPV) based on state licensure laws
  
• Willingnessto obtain licensure in neighboring states if required by service area
  

Preferred Education and/or Experience

• Completionof an accredited program in respiratory care, nursing, or a relatedparamedical field
  
• Experiencein home respiratory care or home healthcare
  
• Degreein respiratory therapy or a related science
  
• Atleast one year of relevant clinical experience
  
• Familiaritywith medical terminology
  

Employment is contingent upon successfully completing a background check, drug screening, compliance onboarding, and credentialing requirements, as well as maintaining a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record when applicable to the position.
