Impact to Health is seeking a compassionate Respiratory Therapist to provide in-home care in Glen Burnie, MD. You will manage ventilators, guide oxygen therapy, and educate patients and families to empower independence and safety in the home.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Active licensure as Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT) in your state or equivalent credential.
• Willingness to obtain licensure in neighboring states if required by service area.
• Completion of an accredited program in respiratory care preferred.
• Experience in home respiratory care or home healthcare preferred.

Responsabilités

• In-home respiratory assessments with compassion and attentiveness.
• Provide education to patients and caregivers on ventilators and oxygen therapy.
• Adjust ventilator settings per physician orders, prioritizing comfort and safety.
• Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot respiratory equipment for patients at home.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all clinical services.
• Offer ongoing phone support and follow-up care.
• Participate in on-call rotations and complete home visits as needed.
• Support training and orientation of new clinical staff.
• Perform additional duties to ensure safe, reliable home respiratory support.

We are seeking a compassionate and clinically skilledRespiratory Therapist (RRT) dedicated to improving patient health, comfort, andconfidence through personalized, in-home respiratory care. WorkSchedule: 8:00am-5:00pm Monday through Friday
On-Call Duties:Ability to be on-call on a rotation basis for emergencies

Impact Responsibilities

• Conductin‑home respiratory assessments with compassion and attentiveness,ensuring patients feel heard, supported, and respected.
  
• Provideclear, empathetic education to patients and caregivers on ventilators,oxygen therapy, and other respiratory equipment, helping them feelconfident and secure in their care.
  
• Adjustventilator settings and clinical plans based on patient needs andphysician orders, prioritizing comfort, safety, and individualized care.
  
• Monitor,maintain, and troubleshoot advanced respiratory equipment with patienceand reassurance, reducing stress for patients and families.
  
• Maintainaccurate, timely documentation of all clinical services and interactionsto support continuity of care and positive health outcomes.
  
• Offerongoing phone support and follow-up care, providing calm, compassionateguidance during moments of uncertainty or urgent need.
  
• Participatein on‑call rotations and complete home visits as needed, delivering carewith empathy and professionalism.
  
• Supportthe training and orientation of new clinical staff, modeling patient-centered communication and compassionate care practices.
  
• Performadditional duties as assigned to ensure patients receive safe, reliable, and dignified respiratory support in their homes.
  

Requirements

Required Education and/or Experience

• Highschool diploma or GED equivalent, required
  
• Activelicensure in your primary state of residence as a Respiratory Therapist(RRT or CRT) or other acceptable medical credential (e.g., RC, RN, LPN,LPV) based on state licensure laws
  
• Willingnessto obtain licensure in neighboring states if required by service area
  

Preferred Education and/or Experience

• Completionof an accredited program in respiratory care, nursing, or a relatedparamedical field
  
• Experiencein home respiratory care or home healthcare
  
• Degreein respiratory therapy or a related science
  
• Atleast one year of relevant clinical experience
  
• Familiaritywith medical terminology
  

Employment is contingent upon successfully completing a background check, drug screening, compliance onboarding, and credentialing requirements, as well as maintaining a valid driver's license with a clean driving record when applicable to the position.
