Job summary

Evergreen Healthcare Group in Wyoming is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (CRT or RRT) to provide expert respiratory care at two skilled nursing facilities in Laramie and Cheyenne. Starting compensation is $50 per hour, DOE.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of experience, NBRC certification, and current CPR/BLS and ACLS credentials. You will assess patients, plan care, and collaborate with physicians and the care team to improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience as a Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist (CRT/RRT).
• Associate degree from an accredited school; graduation from a respiratory care program required.
• NBRC certification as CRT or RRT; current CPR/BLS and ACLS credentials.
• Bachelor of Science in health care is preferred.
• Must hold NBRC certification and active respiratory therapist licensure according to state rules.
• Candidate must meet facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Receive schedule/instructions from supervisor and follow policies.
• Adhere to community policies and procedures of each facility.
• Perform focused interviews to identify patient needs.
• Assess signs and symptoms and document status changes.
• Analyze data and assist in diagnoses with care planning.
• Plan outcomes and implement interventions per care plan.
• Follow emergency, safety and infection control procedures.
• Promote good interpersonal communications within the team.
• Report patient respiratory status changes to physician and team.
• Develop rapport with inter-department staff and providers.

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our skilled nursing healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in respiratory therapy, critical care, and patient assessment, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality respiratory support and patient care. Responsibilities

to be performed at 2 Skilled Nursing Facilities (Laramie & Cheyenne, WY)

• Receive and follow schedule/instructions from your supervisor and as outlined in our established policies and procedures

• Adhere to established policies and procedures of the community to which the position is assigned

• Perform focused interviews to identify specific patients' needs

• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiological and psychosocial changes in the patient's condition

• Collect, analyze, and interpret data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential diagnoses

• Plan for outcomes of care for assigned patients

• Perform interventions according to identified priorities, plan of care, and the company policies and patient care outcome standards

• Follow to emergency, safety and infection control procedures of the community to which the position is assigned

• Promote and participate in activities to facilitate good interpersonal communications

• Report and document changes in the patient's respiratory status to the Physician, Nurse and others responsible for oversight of patient care, prior to exiting community

• Develop and maintain a good working rapport with inter-department personnel, as well as other departments within the community

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist

• Minimum of associate degree from an accredited school

• Graduate of a respiratory care program required

• Bachelor of Science degree in the health care field preferred

• Proof of having passed the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) as a Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist (CRT or RRT)

• Must hold a current CPR/BLS and ACLS certification
