Job summary

Cornerstone Brands in Anita, IA is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our skilled nursing facility team. The role involves delivering respiratory care per physician orders and adhering to state/federal guidelines to improve residents’ pulmonary and general health.

Ideal candidates are licensed in Iowa with NBRC accreditation (CRT or RRT), have ACLS and BLS, and bring at least 6 months of acute LTAC or pulmonary clinic experience to support our residents’ needs.

Qualifications

• Current State Respiratory Therapist Licensure in Iowa.
• Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Respiratory Therapy.
• Possesses and maintains an active CRT or RRT credential with NBRC accreditation.
• Current ACLS and BLS Certification.
• 6 months experience in an acute long term or pulmonary clinic is preferred.

Our skilled nursing facility located in Anita Iowa is implementing a program that caters to our residents and future residents Pulmonary and Cardiac needs as well as general comorbidities, by strengthening their bodies through exercise and interventions. Providing a true difference in the lives of our residents. The ideal candidate will be Registered or Certified Respiratory Therapist licensed in Iowa with NBRC accreditation, with 6 months experience in an acute long term or Pulmonary clinic.

Main Responsibilities:

• The Respiratory Therapist is responsible for providing respiratory care services in accordance with specific physician’s orders, state and federal guideline, and the department policies and procedures.
