UAB Medicine is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for the Night shift in Birmingham, AL. The role involves conducting prescribed respiratory therapies and following care plans under supervision.
Responsibilities include documenting progress, monitoring responses, patient education, and discharge planning. A High School equivalency with experience or an Associate's/Technical degree is required, with BLS certification within 1 month of hire.
The Respiratory Therapy team supports hospital-wide patient care, managing conditions like asthma and respiratory distress. This team plays a vital role in improving patient outcomes.
Conduct medically prescribed respiratory therapy under the supervision of a respiratory therapist.
