The position emphasizes staff development, policy implementation, budget control, CQI and clinical leadership across respiratory care, code team, EKG, and equipment management.

Qualifications

• Must possess current NV state license.
• BLS/ACLS certification required.
• Must be registered, or registry eligible in respiratory care.
• Graduate of an approved school of respiratory care.
• NRP within 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Staff: ensure orientation, competencies, licensing and professional development.
• Management: monitor trends, staffing, salary budget and CQI outcomes.
• Therapeutic Modalities: administer medications per order and document in EMR.
• Code Team: CPR certified and participate in code response.
• Equipment: manage ventilators, CPAP/BIPAP setup and monitoring.
• EKG: perform 12-lead EKGs and coordinate stress tests.
