Job summary

Simpsonville Post Acute in Simpsonville, SC, seeks a skilled Respiratory Nurse (RN) for full-time, 12-hour shifts. You will provide specialized respiratory and nursing care to residents, ensuring safe, effective treatment and improved outcomes.

The role supports a dedicated interdisciplinary team and emphasizes patient-centered care, with opportunities for professional development and ongoing education.

Qualifications

• Current, active RN license in South Carolina (in good standing).
• Current CPR certification.
• Experience with respiratory care and treatments required.
• Must maintain all required continuing education.
• Experience with PCC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care per care plans and physician orders.
• Administer medications, treatments, and respiratory therapies.
• Monitor residents on oxygen therapy, breathing treatments, and respiratory support.
• Assess and respond to changes in respiratory status.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Maintain accurate documentation in PCC.
• Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and infection control regulations.
