Northwestern Medicine's Respiratory Care team seeks a Respiratory Quality Coordinator to oversee quality, patient safety, regulatory readiness, and clinical practice compliance. Leveraging extensive respiratory care experience, you will drive improvements and ensure adherence to policies.

You will lead audits, collaborate with leadership, develop education and policy updates, and support accreditation processes while championing evidence-based practice and staff engagement.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s Degree or active enrollment with completion within three years.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in Critical Care.
• Active IL Respiratory Therapist License (IDFPR).
• Certifications: RRT, CPR/BLS, ACLS, PALS, NBRC ACCS, NRP within 6 months.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and coordinate departmental quality improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with leadership to identify improvement opportunities and implement solutions.
• Perform audits of staff documentation and workflows for compliance.
• Support readiness for accreditation surveys and regulatory inspections.
• Develop quality measurement, evaluation, and improvement methods.
