Especially Kidz is seeking a Respiratory Nurse to join our pediatric team in Shelbyville, Indiana. You will care for residents' daily health needs, support restorative nursing, and communicate closely with management and families.

Ideal candidates are licensed in Indiana (RN or LPN) and have training in pediatric nursing and respiratory therapy, with experience in nursing services administration or rehabilitation.

Qualifications

• RN or LPN license in Indiana.
• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Experience or training in pediatric nursing and rehabilitation or nursing services administration.
• Experience or training in pulmonary/respiratory therapy.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily care, health needs, safety and comfort of residents.
• Ensure restorative nursing care measures are performed as indicated and ordered.
• Maintain open communication with nursing management regarding conditions on the unit and concerns related to staff, residents and visitors.
• Explain treatment goals and expectations to residents and family, to obtain feedback and cooperation.
• Supervise and manage personnel on the unit.

About the Role

Especially Kidz is seeking a Respiratory Nurse to-

• Provide for the daily care, health needs, safety and comfort of the residents.
• Assure that restorative nursing care measures are performed as indicated and ordered.
• Maintain open communication with nursing management regarding conditions on the nursing unit and concerns related to staff, residents and visitors.
• Explain treatment goals and expectations to the residents and family, in an effort to obtain feedback and cooperation.

About you

The ideal candidate would have the following skills and experience:

• A graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Currently licensed by the State of Indiana as an RN or LPN.
• Experienced or trained in nursing services administration, rehabilitation or pediatric nursing.
• Experiencedor trained in pulmonary/respiratory therapy
